Is this still the case? I thought this was slowly falling out of style, but maybe it depends on the place.

More and more in my experience it goes something like:
“How’s it going?”
“It’s going”
“Yeaaah…”

Isn’t this how it’s always worked? I think it’s the same with lemmy.world where you can see comments from .world users on Lemmygrad but they can’t see your replies.
