I get it, but my favorite multi-player game is mobile suit Gundam battle operation 2. Try it. The community has really been pruned of trolls and bad actors. The game makes it more frustrating for them, but more fun with people who just wanna play giant robots. Sure sometimes you get stomped because of a whole ducking clan attacking at once, but I find the wide range of mechs with lots of different playstyles counter the stomping.

I hate that. The absolute worse is when a friend buys me a game for all two weeks of gameplay. Since then, I make sure my friends actually want the game before money is spent

Simon clearly states he gave up his entire life to rescue her, meaning that he could only do this trick once to get that deep into the labs. In another episode, Simon uses his doctor training to look at her brain being horrified at what they did to her. And finally, the bad ass fight scene in the bar where river decimated everyone. Simon again makes it clear that the trigger words were given to him by the same people who rescued her.

I rest my case that it is a flashback to showcase the lengths Simon went through to save her.
