    Imagine an America where gas prices are high and physical shortages are common. That’s the future I’m envisioning. I understand alternatives aren’t present, but people just biking to work is the alternative I’m envisioning.

          what kind of climate do you live in? where i am, weather is a huge barrier to micromobility for months out of the year.

              well, tornado seaon brings weeks of torrential thunderstorms at least twice a year, and winter brings subzero temps for months. add the fact that many people have at least a 30 min commute by car, and missing even one day of work gets you fired, and it becomes an impossble hurdle.
