In their defense, if Trump is as bad as he appears at the rallies they attend that would mean they were wrong, enabled terrible people to do horrible things and are themselves monsters for cheering these people as they raped, stole and lied. I listened to an (american) podcast and on the side they talk a lot about pefophiles/guns because it was relevant. The point was always like: man pedophiles shold all just hang on the road, so other pedophiles would be scared. “When i was young my dad told me that they just made pedophiles dissapear.” And he was awefully proud of that. The companies don’t need to cover the gas tax. Which is what you can deduct.
That’s not how that works. (Normal) commuting costs are never deductible (in the US). Even if your company covers commuting costs for you, that compensation is still fully taxable as income.
