They need ai to automaticcly use the noise canceling in eqrbuds, detect the song playing, and sonically replace it with whatever music you like

They just cancel the constant sound, but dont like replace it 1:1 . you just play music over it which is hard to do it you need to be listening to customers from my experience

Yeah okay, that’s fair. You’re talking more about just replacing music in the environment with your preferred music at a similar volume and leaving everything else normal. That’s certainly not normal noise cancelling.

Andy Williams was the king of Christmas long before Mariah. Also the Robert Shaw Chorale’s 2 albums are great Christmas music.

I would take Mariah every day of the week over yet another sickeningly cloying teeny-bopper rendition of santa baby.

    Honestly, its not that bad.

Now Sia’s Christmas album. Wow that one gets annoying.

I think I’ll gouge my ears out if I hear candy cane lane a few more times.

The trick is to socially network with the people who work overnight stocking or building management in the store and get them to them gradually turn it down. Many stores I visit and have worked at don’t play Christmas music at all, just the standard mindless retail slop which also should get turned down
