    Maybe it is because I already know TNG to be great, but I don’t think encounter at farpoint was really bad. (Was not the best either.)

    I don’t just want to watch Star Trek because of that name slapped onto it.

        My favourite Star Trek? TNG followed by Lower Decks followed by TOS and Enterprise (first two seasons).

        Since a bunch of people said that the Pilot isn’t really representative, I’ll give SFA another shot.

          If you like LD I think you’ll find stuff to like in Academy as well. Tawney was in the writers room. I’m glad to hear you’ll give it another shot.
