i feel like part of the problem is that there are jackshit small “cars”, if it was equally easy to buy a 2-seater with a bit of trunk space then i at least hope lots of people would buy that, and that would make things much less inherently antagonistic.

My hot take is that the standard modern car design is fucking horrible in basically every single way, and 99.99999% of people should instead get either a van, minibus, or a 2-seater.
