If everyone put as much effort into actually boycotting Sony and spreading the message as they do whining about boycotts not working, we might actually see results. Boycotts with deadlines expressed in terms of dates on a calendar have never been effective at anything besides making people think they’re accomplishing something.

I’ve barely bought anything from Sony over the years. It’s certainly not hard for me to drop them permanently. I agree the boycott should be longer. A timed boycott isn’t going to be very effective, but it’s better than doing nothing.
