Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. The latest episode (4) was great! I’m completely sold on watching the rest of this season. Tatiana Maslany and the supporting cast members are all fantastic!

Widow’s Bay. Just discovered this show today and binge watched up to the latest episode (8). It’s billed as a horror/comedy, but it’s mostly just funny. It’s kinda like if a season of American Horror Story had been a comedy. Kate O’Flynn is particularly hilarious in just about every scene she’s in. Highly recommend!

One of the things I miss the most about the 1900s is that people didn’t expect you to be reachable 24/7. Even though cellphones had been around since the 80s very few people had one. That meant that most people could only be reached through the family landline. If you didn’t answer people would just assume you were out of the house, thus unreachable. That all started to change in the 2000s when cellphones became common place. Now days I feel like everyone expects me to pick up when they call, and if I don’t they expect a better excuse than “I don’t feel like talking right now.” As a very introverted person who often needs a lot of alone time, it sucks, and sometimes I really wish I could go back to a world without cellphones.

I’m not sure if you understood what I meant. I’m not saying I agree with what Trump wrote, or that his opinions are somehow shaping my reality. I am saying that the objective reality of a United States President, one of the most powerful people on the planet, taking the time to write insecure and childish social media posts directed at a television show host is weird.

On Friday, the president posted an artificial intelligence-generated video from the official White House account featuring Trump grabbing Colbert from his late-show set and throwing him into a large dumpster while dancing to the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.”

“Colbert is finally finished at CBS. Amazing that he lasted so long! No talent, no ratings, no life. He was like a dead person,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!”

I know I should be used to this sort of thing by now, but reality is so weird.

I think Cate Dunlap’s (Gen V) telepathy was pretty OP. In the show pretty much everyone knew about her powers, so the hardest part would be to make everyone forget (through telepathy) you had any powers at all. If you could accomplish that you could pretty much create your own utopian/dystopian world from behind the scenes.

Using telepathy there are endless ways you can amass a fortune. Once you have money you can buy influence. With both money and influence you can begin getting meetings with the powerful people currently pulling the strings. A simple handshake greeting, and now those powerful people are doing your bidding.

Even if shaping the world isn’t your bag, with telepathy the world is pretty much your oyster.

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or not, but this series isn’t directly related to any of the other Sherlock movies/tv shows. Not even the fairly recent Sherlock Holmes movies starring Robert Downry Jr. that Guy Ritchie also directed.

I liked it. Very surprised it’s sitting at 5.2 on IMDB. Seems harsh!
