Thank you for the great short story.

ALttP was my first Zelda on my SNES. The N64 was already released but I had a SNES. I had never played a isometric game before. I loved it. Just this May I played it again on the Anbernic travelling Europe by train. In my memory it took me month to beat. The internet was already there but it wasn’t on my mind to search for help in the early 2000s. I enjoyed the replay. 10/10.
It is harder to make your friends play boardgames than making friends playing boardgames.
Join a social club. Join a boardgame club. Look online, sometimes people post stuff on Facebook. And go a couple of times, to get the feeling for the attendees. And never forget:
I rather play a shitty game with cool people than play a cool game with shitty people.

By hand but only because I took the kitchen of the previous tenants and it had none and there is no space to easily install one. If I ever buy a new kitchen I would by one.

Procreate. I have payed for it once and it gives me to this day free updates. I had still so much fun drawing.

The DeutschlandTicket is the best thing! I love it. I want that with their Steuernummer, baby’s get a DeutschlandTicket. Everybody needs a DeutschlandTicket.
Granny worked as a florist, not her own shop though. She had incredible strong hands.
As a pupil I did a work experience day in the shop. It was really chilly (Germany usually has not Air Con), we consistently had to clean the floor in the back room to not slip on the leaves, it was tiny in there and we were four people. I got to wash a fake flower decor and rearrange it for a doctors office. That was nice.
