Hate your job? Well just quit then.
Don’t like your landlord? You should be homeless instead.

I sure love paying more interest to banks/landlords who will profit even more from this…

Not all call centres, actually as there are only 3 of us are we even a call centre? But my job involves providing phone support and there is almost never a hold queue.

Presidential pardons have no authority over the ICC
What if I like being occasionally misgendered?

Could that be a reason to move away from googles platform then? When I was at school we didn’t really have any platforms. Just windows PCs with a domain login and software we need installed on the PCs. We all had GIMP.
Head of IT was a twat, but the other IT teacher was based - gave everyone a memory stick with Linux on it.

Is this a threat? Couldn’t they just use anything else? Also how do google know its a school? Its been a while since I was in school but almost none of us logged into google and we didn’t have google accounts.
I could see something like /20 being useful not so much for the number of addresses but to group things by use case, then /8 because you don’t care and it doesn’t matter. Also 10.0 is quicker to type and cleaner to look at than 192.168
I use the low numbers for statics, less to remember/communicate if its a 1/2 digit number instead of 3.
My DHCP is 100-something I dont remember because I don’t care about or respect the devices using DHCP.
I should install Debian to replace my current Ubuntu install at some point. Might move some services I run to a VM to reduce effort when reinstalling my OS. Then it’s just install steam and copy over my game backup folders. Plus with a VM I can easily move it to a proxmox mini PC if I ever get round to buying one.

You can let others use your hardware and in return get higher priority to use others. Want to generate 20 images? Its quicker spread across several other peoples GPUs at the same time with the same prompt.
Not poked AI stuff in a while though, it was interesting from a technical perspective but overall not super useful to me.

Sort of, but I find in reality they usually look down on the working class and will vote against them.

But we do own RAM, do they plan to buy all of it indefinitely? All sorts of other businesses still need computers so they will be buying them even if they cost more, and when they replace them the old ones can be sold off.
There is even the possibility of crowd sourced AI, I know AI horde exists although I think its pretty small and I haven’t touched it in a few years now.

In the UK the middle class also largely seem to not want to help the working class. I have seen them complain about things which help the working class as it brings them closer to the middle class and they don’t like it. Things like a livable minimum wage.

With memory prices I think a lattepanda is a better choice than a pi if you want a cheap PC

They have but the other components don’t cost much in comparison. You are pretty much buying memory and it happens to have a completed system attached.
Pi zero is still pretty cheap though. 512MB of memory should help keep that affordable.

Piracy is illegal and they are of course doing a great job at stopping that…

The open models aren’t controlled by them though.
Yep, not logging in, that killed off the last bit of usage I had for reddit.
