Why would you activate widows with middle clicks? I’m fine having the toggle button, I’m not against that. I just dont see the harm in leaving it as paste as default.

I did read it. I still do t understandthe issues. Most normal people do to my knowledge not even know they can middle click. And on most laptops three finger middle click is usually disabled by default. Having issues with “confusion” is to me a made up problem.

But why? It hurts noone to have that enabled.

As long as Micro$oft doesn’t get any of my money.
I think of the interviewer ask this specific question they aren’t sophisticated enough to expect anything else than the “correct” answer. The question is so old, stupid, and irrelevant that anyone smart enough to ask actual good interview questions would never lead with this.
The “correct” answer doesnt work for led bulbs. A more modern answer would be why the hell can i only go to the room once!? Or you could get a friend/coworker to go to the room and just observe the bulb. One blink switch one, two blinks switch two etc. Lastly if you know a random switch is controlling a light in another room, why the hell is that switch not labeled if you already knew about it. Like how did this problem even arise in the first place. Also if you just want light in the room right now just turn all 3 on and go to the room.

It’s an Apil fools video. Not real
It took my brain way longer than I want to admit to figure out, what is wrong with that line… I gues my brain just autocorrected it for me without me even knowing.
I’ve literally used Linux for over 5 years without ever noticing middle click did anything unusual until a colleagues showed me he could magically paste things with the mouse and I had to ask how he did it. Now I use it frequently and love the feature. I just don’t understand how you “keep accidentally paste stuff all over” when I’ve never heard any of my Linux friends and colleges ever mention anything about it and like me they were supprised and happy when I showed them the feature as well.
