The term you’re looking for is “security through obscurity”. The effort require to create a coherent picture from that scattered information is more than its worth, so it doesn’t get done. The argument here being that AI changes that calculation because it removes the effort part.

7·5 months agoAlready contacted my assembly person to oppose it. I get the intent behind it, but theres no way im going to ask the government for permission to use my own hardware.
I dont even own a 3D printer yet, but I wouldn’t want to be subject to such a bad and dumb law if and when that changes.


The dipshits making decisions are there partly because of the easily deceived dipshits who vote for them, but even moreso because they are willing puppets of the ruling class. The primary process and unlimited outside spending weeds out the less corrupt before they get too close to the levers of power.
