If AI is “just a tool”, then guns are “just a tool”

It would have to be only some. The storage density of printed photos is terrible.

Who?

Are you an American? Are you talking to Americans? The Guardian is corporate-owned propaganda.

What exactly do YOU think LLMs are?
Machine Learning is a kind of AI. LLMs are but one kind of Machine Learning Model. All LLMs are Machine Learning models, but not all Machine Learning models are LLMs. LLMs are one kind of AI, but not all AI is an LLM.
They’re different words for a reason. If they were all the same thing, we wouldn’t give them different names. It’s completely possible and understandable that someone would find one acceptable but not the other.

There’s nothing quite so uniquely irritating as someone who holds a strong opinion on something about which they know very little.
If you punch a clock to pay your bills, you’re working class. Don’t let them turn us against each other.

“Democracy is government of the people, by the people, and for the people… But the people are retarded.”

And it doesn’t fill up landfills with those harmful lithium-ion batteries!

IBS is a serious issue affecting millions of people. Whoever wrote this sign is ableist.

I am a burnt out loser who can’t go a day without weed
You’re thinking about it wrong. You’re using the language of the oppressor.
You’re a medicinal marijuana patient. You suffer from an illness you didn’t earn or ask for. Cannabis is the medicine that manages your symptoms. If you don’t take your medicine, your symptoms get worse.

“Good” and “bad” are subjective terms. I accept myself for who I am regardless of anyone else’s opinions. I’m happy with who I am and my opinion is the only one I need to be worried about.

I’m the worst person I know. And because I’m such a bad person, I don’t even care.

“Back in my day” we would swap out someone’s mouse ball with a hard-boiled egg yolk as a prank. Good times.
Convention. “Back in my day,” memes were made mostly in MS Paint or MS Word. With MS Word, impact was the default font for an out-of-box variety of Word Art. Since it worked well for the task and was easily accessible, it became a common choice, then a ubiquitous component of the “meme” format.

If you’re overtaking, you’re supposed to speed up. If speeding up would put you at an unsafe speed, then overtaking is too dangerous at that moment. If there isn’t enough difference in speed to overtake in a timely manner, there isn’t enough difference in speed you should want to overtake.
Just because cruise control makes you drive a constant speed doesn’t mean it makes you drive the correct speed. Either adjust it down and accept your place in traffic, or turn it off long enough to speed up and complete your overtake without turning your two-ton death machine into an obstacle for everyone else to maneuver around.
fuck them lol in a rush for nothing
First of all, you don’t know that. They could be having an emergency. If it was your relative dying at the hospital, you’d want people to move out of your way too. Second of all, it’s not your job to police the roads. It’s not your job to make sure people drive slow enough. If you think someone is being dangerous by driving too fast, the safest thing you can do is get the fuck out of their way. Adding another car to an already dangerous situation only makes the situation more dangerous.
Call and report them if tou have to, but don’t try to enforce the law, that’s not your job.

They kinda do. There are five possible causes of death: homicide, suicide, accidental, natural causes, and unknown. All deaths not determined to be accidental or natural require a police investigation.
Small numbers begin appearing out of thin air. A red bar drains slowly.
Ask New York City. It’s expensive af every time a change needs to be made underground because you have to dig everything up, and once you’re down there, it’s just a nest of wires in conduit so knowing which one you’re supposed to work on can be a challenge.
Underground wires have to be insulated to prevent short circuits to ground. The longer a wire needs to go, and the more power it needs to carry, the thicker it needs to be. Since insulation goes around the outside, this increases exponentially and the cable quickly becomes mostly insulation in many cases, which is expensive and inefficient.
Also, there’s only so much ground you can dig up before you hit bedrock. So, in some cases, power infrastructure expansion is limited because there’s nowhere to bury the wires.
In many places it’s easier to let the damage happen and repair it cheaply.
