That’s unfortunate. When I bump into strange policies like this at my organization, I like to just get on their nerves about it. Mainly to make them suffer for it a little bit, but sometimes people turn out more reasonable than expected and something improves. It would be interesting to at least find out the reasoning behind the policy.

Good point, thanks. I’ll edit it out. I have to think about a better way to get this point across. Maybe a footnote that explains that personal use is simply out of scope for the policy…

I’m not sure if I understand your comment correctly. The “of course” part is there because I think it’s none of my business. Even if I believe using LLMs in any way is bad, I don’t get to tell you what to do. While I think this should be obvious, I still included it for clarity.

I consistently enjoy David Bushell’s writing. However, the first thing I always think when seeing his domain on lobsters is: “Wow, this person must really hate dbus!” ^^ Only a split second later do I remember that I know this domain :)

I hope my comment wasn’t perceived as negative. It certainly wasn’t intended that way. The way I see it, the domain name is attention-catching and chuckle-inducing in a wholesome way. It’s perfect.
