Serious question: Has anyone here had firsthand direct experience of a “boomer” saying sh*t like this? And I mean recently, not 20-30 years ago when the inequity was seemingly more obscure in popular culture.

I don’t know who actually started the Boomers vs Millennials gripefest, but both of these advertising demographics can just shut up.

There’s little difference. While yes, the elderly themselves get scammed due to cognitive decline and extra targeting from scammers, all the youngins get ripped off too. You ain’t special. I gave crypto and internet gambling as examples for a reason…

Did they piss it away on crypto or prediction markets? Did they piss it away specifically because they were born within a range of years?

A lot of boomers voted for Harris. A lot of young people voted for Trump. A lot of people in general didn’t vote at all. I’m fresh out of fucking empathy for the entire world being simplistically stereotyped.

And still, a bunch of you have convinced yourselves that “boomers” hoarded all the money…
