  • It really has. We’re so conditioned into accepting this abusive relationship where we can’t opt out of questionable stipulations during signups and purchases.

    When I saw this earlier today, I almost just mindlessly consented without a 2nd thought. What stopped me was wondering:

    • what shitty thing they got in trouble for
    • if this a precursory legal maneuver because our user data has been compromised
    • or if they are doing wholesale transactions with data brokerages, AI companies, law enforcement, etc.

    I’m about ready to just leave the fucking job hunt and start my own business. Been at it since last May and have landed a total of 5 interviews.
