    Who knows. Space is big, and has very different properties depending on the surroundings

    Gold doesn’t just oxidize, so it’d pick up more gold eventually through cold welding, losing fine detail.

    But, especially out of the heliosphere, it’s probably going to get hit by fast moving particles and deform first

    Who knows…a thousand years? 50 billion? Who’s to say, we don’t know much about the conditions of interstellar areas of a galaxy. The sun creates a bubble that insulates us, and voyager only crossed it a couple years ago
