1 Gigabyte is 1,000 megabytes (decimal) or 1,024 megabytes (binary). That is right. Now, one petabyte holds 1000 terabytes or 1,000,000,000,000,000 bytes, that is right. 1024 Petabytes is 1,073,741,824 Gigabytes. You can do conversion chart. I checked all that with google. How is that wrong?

1·3 days agoYou people are fucking nuts. One thousand twenty-four petabytes (1024) is called an exabyte (EB).
Data Scale Order:
• Kilobyte (KB): 1,000 bytes.
• Megabyte (MB): 1,000 kilobytes.
• Gigabyte (GB): 1,000 megabytes (decimal) or 1,024 megabytes (binary).
• Terabyte (TB): 1,000 or 1,024 gigabytes
• Terabyte (TB): 1,024 gigabytes
• Petabyte (PB): 1,024 terabytes
• Exabyte (EB): 1,024 petabytes (about one quintillion bytes)
• Zettabyte (ZB): 1,024 exabytes

1·3 days agoNo the standard abbreviation for a petabyte is PB. And 1 PB is 1,000,000 Gigabytes. 1 terabytes is not 1 million GB. 1 terabyte is 1024 gigabytes. This shit isn’t that hard to understand.

1TB Decimal (Base 10): Exactly 1,000,000 GB (1,000 terabytes multiplied by 1,000 gigabytes).
