    No.

The “division” in the USA is a consequence of our racist history and winner-take-all elections. The latter reduces the count of sensible parties to two (“incumbent” and “opposition”) while the former smudges what could be philosophical groups into “bigoted assholes” and “well-meaning fools”

There may be a reshuffling of how much the Republicans endorse bigotry, but the election result itself isnt nearly as important as the range of what they think will work in 2028.

Honestly changing majorities in Congress is not going to tear the country apart if people start feeling actual financial relief. When a new government focuses on social safety nets protecting consumers and fixing up roads parks and transit everyone benefits. When everyday costs drop and public services actually work it unites people way more than political teams divide us.

As soon as the Democrats win the entire narrative will change to how they created the messes that we’re in. The division is already artificial and strategically created. It actually will get worse because it will be further amplified.

No. The dems who are beholden to mostly the same donors as the fascist republican party will decide to move on in the interest of healing or something. And not undo even a tiny fraction of the damage done.
