Right-wing influencer Laura Loomer announced she is taking a ābrief hiatusā from her Loomer Unleashed podcast just hours after a Trump administration adviser exposed her for being paid to post some of her manic, hateful content.
It all started on Thursday, when Alex Bruesewitz, who is behind much of Trumpās digital media strategy, took aim at conservative social media influencers following the GOPās massive midterm election loss.
āBelieve it or not attacking Democrats over their relationships with a streamer (Hasan Piker) wasnāt an effective hit,ā Bruesewitz posted, not mentioning Loomer by name. āGOP candidates probably shouldnāt take messaging advice from fringe right-wing āinfluencersā moving forward.ā

Loomer took offense to that, claiming that she was not an influencer and criticizing Bruesewitz for his association with Omeed Malik, a conservative venture capitalist and major Republican donor.

Itās a civil issue - I think any laws should have fines and required communication fixes, not any criminal charges or jail time - but allowing fake grass roots movements that are actually collaborations between billionaires and grifters is harmful to civil society.
