@AlexPed@salute I am an old guy (68) and remember my father taking us to a polio vaccination event, back in the 60s. We got the Sabin vaccine (the sugar cubes). He was often not a happy guy, he had bad experiences in WW2 that he refused to talk about, but I remember him being really happy that evening. In retrospect, I think he was happy that his children would not face the threat that his generation faced. And he would be appalled at the antivax people who want to throw this away.
