I have used the quarter sheet fold method for my fitted sheets for decades. Mom taught me that particular witchcraft.

I hate fitted sheets. They’re ugly, impractical and always wrinkled. They never feel properly cleaned and always look untidy, even straight from the wash. Generally a horrible invention. My preferred way to store them is in a dumpster burned to cinder.
