Yes, however the micro plastics observed in animals is very often multicolored and followed up but much larger pieces of plastic much larger than the glove material thickness. Moreover, when analyzed it is easy to identify car tire rubber from these other rubbers and from other plastics.

Its a huge problem with latex these days and nitrile too…they just fall off in large chunks of multicolored micro plastics. Sure mechanics, labs and medics love black and blue, but what about all the latex gloves for kids?
