I think so personally, because it’s still engagement and I’m assuming it probably contributes to the MAU number which could in turn attract more users
Over the years, I don’t think there’s many DE’s or WM’s that I haven’t tried to live with on a daily driver, such as KDE, Gnome, Cinnamon, Qtile, XMonad, I3, AwesomeWM, etc etc. What I found over the years was how much I appreciated a clean, simplistic UI for an operating system.
After spending multiple years on ‘window manager only’ setups (got fed up with updating configs on major updates, and got fed up with the amount of config I had to do), I returned back to KDE mainly for the intense amount of OOTB customisation. However, what I realised after a while was that I was just setting up KDE to look and behave like Gnome.
So 2 years after last using KDE, I’m now just using Gnome all the time. I like the workflow, on laptop personally I think the gesture navigation is better than any other DE, and I love the simplistic design. Plus extensions get me what isn’t included OOTB.
Downside to Gnome is when major updates occur and extensions break as a result, other than that I can’t think of much bad about Gnome

Oh cool, learnt something new! Thanks

Does Summit have the behaviour OP is looking for?
I can’t seem to swipe between posts on Summit, unless I’m missing something?

A password manager?

HDR is in, has been in KDE and Gnome for a while now.
Fair enough on TrackPad scroll speed.
Other than that though, what other features do you believe Gnome is missing?

In my early 20’s (like 21-22) I worked in a work environment that is notoriously big for everyone giving each other shit at work (trades and labouring).
One thing I picked up on very fast was that you had to set those limits on how much crap you can take as a joke. It also made it really easy to know when an actual fight was about to break out because both parties would step over those lines immediately haha.
Anyway, I’ve done this at every job since and personally I’ve never had an issue with workplace bullying or anything. I swear the workplace is just the schoolyard for adults lol

Depends on the cert and the environment you are already in.
For example, I’m an IT Consultant, we kind of rely on ‘professional certs’ to get work at client projects, especially if a project is covering specific niches and we have consultants that have certifications within those niches.
Also, many of the more mainline certs can definitely be worth getting (especially in the early career stages), as a quick example some of the CompTIA certs like Networking+ (a colleague got his job with us solely with that cert btw)

Am I reading the correct bit?
Chapter 24, section 5 - Eavesdropping
A person who unlawfully listens to or records with a technical device
- a discussion, talk or other sounds of private life, where these are not intended for his or her knowledge and which occur or arise in a place covered by the right to domestic privacy, or
- secretly, elsewhere than in a place covered by the right to domestic privacy, talk that is not intended for his or her knowledge or for the knowledge of any other third parties, where the circumstances are such that the speaker has no reason to believe that a third party is listening shall be sentenced for eavesdropping to a fine or to imprisonment for at most one year.
An attempt is punishable.
This to me seems like it reads against what you are saying no?
EDIT: And actually, isn’t this more about an unknown third party anyway?

And here’s the Bugzilla issue link, also found in above link:

Nice! I’m guessing the MD/Genesis version is the same port as the PSX? Or is that the original Mickey Mania?

Last time I tried Bluesky was the start of this year, with a week had like 20 bot accounts following me, maybe 1 real person

Haha! I’ll never see this cover the same again.
And as a side note, damn I wish I had a copy of Conker’s Bad Fur Day!!!
It’s a stolen image of a Japanese voice actress, see comment above ^^ (sorry I don’t know how to link a comment on my app). This post is just rage bait by a troll

2 cups sure, but 5???
I’m pretty sure I would have a heart attack after 5 lol
Did you just fantasize about a veteran being into you as an 11yr old, now you have it stuck in your head that they were a pedo because of… Why exactly?
Am I reading this wrong?

Far out, how unhinged is this guy??
