Nasce David Packard, cofondatore di HP. Con William Hewlett fonda nel 1939, in un garage di Palo Alto, la società considerata l’origine della Silicon Valley.

  @superenea @computer se parliamo di origine geografica e culturale, si fa risalire alla HP e al “Palo Alto garage”. Se invece parliamo di sviluppo tecnologico e industriale dei semiconduttori, Fairchild è fondamentale.
