I didn’t notice that the project changed names!
As stated in their name introduction blog, the name is meant to represent the project better and be less confusing to write. I find that the new name is much better, as it has historic and geographic weight behind it, and there are no more problems with regards to capitalisation of letters.
Over the years, postmarketOS / Nura has definitely gotten more mature with the creation and addition of devices in the “main” category. It has evolved a lot since I’ve started following its development in 2018! :)

Sadly they don’t seem to have any supported phone less than 4 years old (or the Pinephone, which might as well be).

Fairphone 6? Or even OnePlus 15 which is not merged in nura packages but people seem to be running mostly NixOS and whatnot

All the reports I’ve seen say the Fairphone 4 is the last model with reasonably complete feature coverage beyond “yes, it boots”

Fairphone 4 is actually behind 5. Just recently the people working on the 4 copied some solutions for phone call audio from our work on FP5/MotoEdge30 (:

Thanks, I might get one to try Nura on. Just goes to show how hard it is to get reliable information on hardware support.

The great thing is that they’ve outlined how to change that! There are lots of devices that partially meet the new criteria for “main” so there’s potential for the list to grow quite a bit while still meeting certain expectations.
EDIT: Aah, “less than”. Well, for that you’ll need to talk to the device manufacturers and tell them to stop making things harder than they need to be.

We’ll see, but GrapheneOS’ goals are very different from Nura’s and their partnership with Motorola won’t necessarily lead to more open devices that can run whatever the user wants. Maybe Nura can separately partner with Motorola if the Graphene partnership goes well.

Ah, too bad. Just noticed my moto x4 was archioved this summer. Not sure it’s worth trying to get some old unsupported version now.

It’s actually currenty in very active review and for extra good news freedreno has gotten a bunch of good fixes for old GPUs recently. Just wait a little bit!
