(I never used it. I looked at it, didn’t care for what I saw, and moved on. But I know several people who used it, and it left a lasting, highly positive impression on each of them.)

I wonder how much Gren started to diverge from the original Elm codebase over 4.5 years and how many ideas move from one to the other

Gren compiler is being rewriten in Gren. I believe they will diverge a lot over time, since the author didn’t consider it a fork.
