I’m very excited to see these two personal pain points fixed:
- workspaces can now be colocated with git worktrees
- workspaces have a new
removecommand that can delete the workspace directory at the same time as forgetting the workspace entry

Might be a lazy question but do I have to create brand new workspaces to do this or can I colocate my existing workspaces?
EDIT: just to be safe I removed them and added them back!

Release notes say you can run
jj git colocation enablein the existing worktrees! Haven’t tried it myself yet though.

jj splitopening a single editor session for editing the messagesjj file edit/jj file deletefor operating on a file in a different change
The second one is going to be really nice for deleting files that were accidentally committed.
