Yeah, it feels very much like the kernel community is cliquey and hard for new contributors, and their approach for dealing with slop is make it even cliquier and hard to contribute to. Considering the kernel’s manpower problems, it doesn’t strike me as a good thing.
Sounds like a big middle finger to all new contributors, be their contributions be made with AI or not. Unfortunate.
